Congratulations to Mostardi Nursery!

Mostardi Nursery has been named one of Lawn & Garden Retailer magazine’s 2026 Innovators of the Year, one of just 10 independent garden centers nationwide to earn the honor. The recognition celebrates retail innovation, community impact, and customer experience — and it comes as the family-owned business, incorporated in 1976, celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Owner Steve Mostardi was honored in person at Cultivate’26, the AmericanHort national convention, and the nursery was featured in the July issue of Lawn & Garden Retailer.

Beyond the shop on West Chester Pike, Mostardi’s has long been a driving force behind Newtown Square In Bloom, supplying plant material at cost and contributing over 100 hanging baskets to the town’s floral displays since 2010 — a commitment that helped earn Steve the nomination for this award.
